Catherine Maki - BEATRICE

Catherine Maki (Beatrice) is excited to be making her Frosted Glass Creative debut this summer. Some of her recent credits include Witch in Macbeth with Royal Shakespeare Company education last fall in Stratford-Upon-Avon, as well as Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dreamwith the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Actor's Training Program, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors with Starlight Theatre in Illinois. She is excited to be going into her final year in the UM BFA Actor Training Program and up next you can see Catherine making her debut at Lyric Arts in the musical Big Fish!

Hanna Olson - HERO

  Hanna Olson (Hero) is thrilled to join Frosted Glass Creative again after making her debut last year as Laura in Little House on the Prairie. Hanna is a 2025 graduate from the UMN/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program, where she enjoyed conservatory-style classical actor training and graduated Summa Cum Laude with High Honors. Hanna is looking forward to her post-grad opportunities in New York City, where she is relocating this Fall. Love and many thanks to her mom, the most inspiring woman she knows. Logan Lang - BENEDICK

  Logan Lang (Benedick) is thrilled to be back with Frosted Glass Creative this summer. You may have seen him last year as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. Logan is a Minneapolis-based actor and musician and a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota’s BFA Acting Program. He has had the pleasure of working with Twin Cities theaters such as Walking Shadow Theatre Company (Red Speedo) and Park Square Theatre (The Ferryman), and has appeared in numerous productions at the University. Brandt Roberts - VERGES / MESSENGER

   Brandt Roberts (Verges/Messenger) is an actor, designer, and educator. He is thrilled to be making his Frosted Glass Creative debut. Relatively new to the Twin Cities, Brandt has toured and performed in 25 states. For nine seasons he was a resident actor at the Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro, MN. Highlights: John Merrick in The Elephant Man, Robert in Boeing Boeing, and Renfield in Dracula: Prince of Blood. Brandt’s one-person-show, The Art of the Entertainer, which takes a clownish view of theatre history, was retooled for streaming in 2020.

Isabella Spiess - CHOREOGRAPHER

   Isabella Spiess (Choreographer) is a multidisciplinary artist and rising senior in the UMN BFA actor training program. They have a life-long love for dance—especially folk and partnered styles! Most recently, they played Silvius (and others!) and choreographed Craig Johnson's As You Like It for the U of M! In the Twin Cities they’ve performed as Eliante in School for Lies at the Guthrie Dowling Studio and at the Children’s Theatre Company in Spamtown, USA as Jude. ig: @izzyisspicy 

Carl Swanson* - DON JOHN

 Carl Swanson (Don John) is honored to be making his Frosted Glass debut! Carl is a Twin Cities based stage and film actor. He has acted at many area theaters including The Guthrie, Theatre Latte Da, The Ordway, Children's Theater Company, Artistry, History Theatre, Theatre Mu, The Old Log, Trademark Theatre, Lyric Arts, and in 2018 was part of the First National Tour of NOEL the Musical. Ani Tonoyan - COMPOSER / MUSIC DIRECTOR

  Ani Tonoyan (composer/music director) is an actor, singer, composer, and musician from the Twin Cities! Recently, she graduated from the UMN Guthrie BFA program and attained her BFA in Acting. Next up, she is excited to play Ursula in Much Ado About Nothing at Gray Mallard Theater, as well as performing in Ghost Quartet for Theatre Elision. She is excited to be composing and music directing for Frosted Glass! 

Tim Wollman - CONRADE

Tim Wollman (Conrade) is a Twin Cities based actor from Chippewa Falls, WI. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire with a comprehensive degree in theatre arts. Tim spent the last two summers with the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, performing in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, and Romeo and Juliet before moving to Minneapolis last August. He most recently was in Lakeshore Player’s production of Misery. This is Tim’s first show with Frosted Glass, and his first outdoor performance at all! Hope you enjoy the show!

Alex Galick - STAGE MANAGER

  Alex Galick (Stage Manger) is excited to be back with Shakespeare in the Vines as Stage Manager! Having acted with the company last year in Romeo and Juliet, Alex is an award winning actor of stage and screen with experience onstage locally with Theater Mu, Guthrie Theater, Dark & Stormy, Yellow Tree Theatre, History Theatre, Gray Mallard Theater Co., and TigerLion Arts; as well as across the US on regional stages like Door Shakespeare in Wisconsin, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, and Utah Shakespeare Festival. On camera his work includes indie and genre films like V/H/S/85, R BnB and Scare Package 2. He also works as a director, and assistant directed Guthrie Theater’s 50th annual production of A Christmas Carol.  IG: @alexgalick  www.alexgalick.com

Randal Berger* - LEONATO

  Randal Berger (Leonato) is pleased to be back with Frosted Glass Creative, having both directed and performed in past productions. A Twin Cities-based actor, director, producer and educator since 1988, his stage credits include The Old Log, Ordway, Fitzgerald, Music Box, Pillsbury House, Margolis Brown, Playwrights’ Center, Stillwater Zephyr and Burning House Group Theatres. Screen and voice credits include Ode to Joy, Herman USA, Buddy Buddy, Star Wars: Dark Forces and numerous commercial campaigns. He has served on the SAG-AFTRA National Board since 2015. All of this stands on the shoulders of his family’s love and support!

David Beukema* - DOGBERRY

  David Beukema (Dogberry) has performed with many companies across Minnesota including Old Log Theater, Theatre L'Homme Dieu, Park Square Theater, Rochester Civic Theatre, Artistry, Walking Shadow Theatre Company, Girl Friday Productions, Theatre Pro Rata, and Frank Theatre, as well as on stages in Wisconsin, Ohio, New York, and New Hampshire. A Twin Cities native, he is delighted to be appearing with Frosted Glass and to be brushing up his Shakespeare for the first time in over a decade. When not performing, David can be found chasing birds in Minnesota State Parks and, for 12 days in August, more likely than not at the Minnesota State Fair.

Jeremy Bode - ASSISTANT DIRECTOR / ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER

  Jeremy Bode (Assistant director/Assistant stage manager) is happy to be joining Frosted Glass to assist this talented cast and production team on this beautiful Shakespeare classic. A recent graduate of the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theatre BFA Actor Training Program, he was just onstage this spring in his company’s senior production of The Ferryman at Park Square Theatre. Other recent credits from around town include Rope at Gremlin Theatre and The Seagull at Theatre in the Round. In the summer of 2023, he completed an internship with Illinois Shakespeare Festival where he performed outdoors in The Tempest and The Book of Will. He’s grateful to once again be bringing the Bard to a lovely outdoor setting. 

Chad Bracewell - SECOND WATCH / ENSEMBLE

  Chad Bracewell (Second Watch/ensemble) has been in several productions, most recently:  Mary Poppins, School of Rock, Mama Mia, The Jungle Book, and Guys and Dolls. Born in Canada, he moved to Stillwater from California in 2014. Chad’s favorite part of performing is making friends and improving his acting abilities. He was invited to be in a Healthy Boundaries series for Special Olympics. In his spare time, he loves playing the drums, listening to music, rocking out on his front porch (while playing air guitar), and decorating his house for Halloween and Christmas. He also enjoys performing and dancing with Curio Dance Studio, being a farmer at 21 Roots Farm, attending events at The Valley Friendship Club, riding horses at River Valley Riders, working at Walmart and Kowalski’s, selling merch at his brother’s shows, and walking his dogs, Charley and Newman. He has performed with Frosted Glass Creative, The Zephyr Theatre, Roger Rocka’s Dinner Theatre, California Arts Academy, and most recently Chad appeared in the film “Bobby’s Intermission” with Justin Films.

Porter Eldredge - CLAUDIO

  Porter Eldredge (Claudio) is thrilled to make their Debut with Frosted Glass Creative. Shakespeare is their bread and butter: they worked at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival last summer, played Orlando in As You Like It at the University of Minnesota, and now love digging into this great role. They are coming from a production in Monmouth, Maine, where they played Christopher Robin in Winnie-the-Pooh. Porter is going into their senior year in the University of Minnesota BFA Acting program in association with the Guthrie Theater and Royal Shakespeare Company.

Erich Feist - BORACHIO

 Erich Feist (Borachio) is jazzed to be back among the vines for his second summer with Frosted Glass Creative. He recently graduated from the UMN/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program, where he had the joy of training with incredible creatives at the University of Minnesota, the Guthrie Theater, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Come this fall, you’ll find him in New York City. Love and thanks to his mom and dad, to whom he owes everything. Jonathan Feld - DON PEDRO

  Jonathan Feld (Don Pedro) is so grateful to be making his debut with Frosted Glass Creative! He works as a performing artist in the Twin Cities, with companies such as Open Eye, Daleko Arts, Lyric Arts, Theatre Pro Rata, Girl Friday, Exposed Brick, and SAATH, among others. An Iowa native, Jonathan graduated from Simpson College with BAs in theatre and psychology. When Jonathan isn’t on stage, he enjoys cooking, gardening, camping, hiking, kayaking, and being outside as much as humanly possible. He would like to thank YOU for supporting the arts!

Tena May Gallivan - ANTONIA

  Tena May Gallivan (Antonia) was born into a show biz family and has had no luck leaving her legacy behind, performing on stages throughout the Twin Cities and beyond as well as developing a career in voice-overs. She can be heard nationally on the television and radio. Although Tena May is making her debut at Frosted Glass, she has done lots of Shakespeare. She has done lots of shows with Craig Johnson. She has even done Shakespeare WITH Craig Johnson! Tena May is also a Teaching Artist and Special Education Paraprofessional.

Cassidy Hall - MARGARET

  Cassidy Hall (Margaret) graduated from the University of Wisconsin River Falls with degrees in Creative Writing, Music (vocal/percussion/flute), and Musical Theatre.  She has been actively involved with theatre for over 15 years, performing with The Zephyr Theatre, CB Productions, the Phipps Center for the Arts, Frosted Glass Creative, and various theatre and film companies throughout the Twin Cities area.  Her most beloved role is Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream which she has been delighted to portray five times and counting!  She is trained in acting, singing, and dance, including ballroom, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and tap.  In addition to performing on stage, she also works as a theatre director, a creative writer, a professional photographer, and the owner of an Etsy crystal business called Hall of Rocks and Crystals.

Craig Johnson - DIRECTOR

    Craig Johnson (Director) is excited to be making his directing debut with Frosted Glass Creative, though he has been around for years directing and acting at many Twin Cities theaters including the Jungle, History Theater, Park Square, Latte Da, Artistry, Six Points, Gremlin, Ten Thousand Things, Yellow Tree, Girl Friday Productions, Lakeshore Players, Theatre in the Round, and many others. Recognition includes Ivey Awards for directing and acting, and 'Theater Artist of the Year' from City Pages and Lavender magazines. Craig's pretty sure this is his 37th Shakespeare production.   

Colleen Hennen - ABBESS

  Colleen Hennen (Abbess) is delighted to be making her debut appearance with Frosted Glass Creative and thrilled to be working again with Craig Johnson and with this wonderful company. Colleen has worked on numerous stages in Chicago, California, and the Twin Cities, including Park Square, Illusion, Torch Theater, Six Points, and Theatre in the Round, among many others. In addition to stage work, Colleen has also taught acting and writing in various venues. She currently works at the University of Minnesota, where she holds a position as Senior Lecturer. 

Alanna Humason - URSULA / FIRST WATCH

  Alanna Humason (Ursula/First Watch) Thank you so much for supporting the arts! Much Ado About Nothing is Alanna’s fourth production with Frosted Glass Creative: Romeo and Juliet, Little House on the Prairie, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Other credits include The Phipps Center for the Arts: The Drowsy Chaperone, Silent Sky. Northern Starz Theatre: Urinetown.
